"The healthy corporation"

To be successful, corporations and institutions needs to fulfil “apparently” opposite requirements, for instance, innovation and cost control, diversification and synergies. The following questionnaire will help you to diagnose your own organization and check if it is well balanced.

  • The questionnaire is design around two essential dimensions :
    • "machine" or obsession : these strategies and behaviours correspond to the needs of “mastering” the business to deliver the results, as planned.
    • "passion" or hysteria : these strategies and behaviours correspond to the needs of being agile enough to size new “unplanned” opportunities.

Whenever you think the assertion characterises properly your organization, answer "yes". Otherwise, answer "no".
Then, you sum up the number of ‘yes’ for each dimension. We will provide you with a grid to analyse your results. Excessive obsession leads to too much rigidity. Excessive hysteria prevents capitalizing on synergy. Both excess reduce the organization capacity to learn and thus can put corporation survival in danger.
